About Image Resizer

Resizing changes how many pixels an image has, which controls both its dimensions and its file size. This tool redraws your image at the width and height you choose using high quality scaling, then lets you save it as PNG, JPG, or WebP.

It is handy for fitting an avatar to a required size, shrinking a photo for email, or preparing an image for a web page without opening heavy editing software.

How to Use

  1. Drop in or choose an image.
  2. Enter a new width or height. With aspect ratio locked, the other value follows automatically.
  3. Pick the output format, and a quality level for JPG or WebP.
  4. Download the resized image.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it keep the aspect ratio?

Yes, by default. With aspect ratio locked, changing the width updates the height to match so the image does not stretch. You can unlock it to set both freely.

Will resizing reduce quality?

Making an image smaller is clean. Making it much larger cannot add real detail, so enlarged images look softer, which is normal for any resizer.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Resizing happens entirely in your browser, so your image never leaves your device.
