Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Full Stack Development, LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the website at itsmattgeorge.com and its related subdomains, pages, blog, tools, and application programming interfaces (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information we need to operate the Service.

  • Information you provide. If you contact us by email, book a call, or otherwise communicate with us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
  • Automatically collected usage data. When you visit the Service, our servers and privacy-focused analytics automatically record limited technical information such as pages viewed, referring page, approximate region, browser type, device type, and the date and time of your visit. We use this in aggregate to understand traffic and improve the Service.
  • Account and API data. If we require you to generate an API key or create an account, we collect those credentials and track your usage, including request volumes and endpoints accessed, to enforce limits and monitor the health and security of the Service.
  • Information processed locally. Some of our browser-based tools process the files, images, or text you provide entirely within your own browser. In those tools, your inputs are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information, and we ask that you not send it to us. We do not collect, use, or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose other than providing the Service as requested by you.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA and CPRA), we disclose that in the preceding twelve (12) months we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (such as your name and email address) and internet or other electronic network activity information (such as approximate region, browser type, and interactions with the Service). We have not sold or shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

2. Cookies and Analytics

We aim to keep tracking to a minimum. Our analytics are designed to respect privacy: we use a self-hosted analytics tool that does not use advertising cookies, and privacy-focused analytics provided by our hosting platform. These tools collect aggregated, non-identifying usage data and do not build advertising profiles of you. We may use strictly necessary cookies or local browser storage to remember basic preferences, such as a theme or a tool setting. You can control or clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings.

3. How We Use Information and Legal Bases

We use the information described above to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service; to respond to your inquiries and provide support; to understand how the Service is used in aggregate; to detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse; and to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR, Full Stack Development, LLC is the data controller of your personal information. Our legal bases for processing include the performance of a contract (providing the Service to you), our legitimate interests (operating, securing, analyzing, and improving the Service), compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where legally required.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information only as follows:

  • Service providers. With vendors who help us run the Service, such as our website hosting and infrastructure provider, analytics tools, and scheduling tools, who may process information on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal and safety. When we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will seek to ensure the recipient honors this Policy.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on and may link to third-party services, including our hosting and infrastructure provider, analytics tools, a scheduling tool for booking calls, and external websites referenced in our content. Those third parties maintain their own privacy practices, which we do not control. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Specifically, we retain communication records for up to two years after our last contact with you; account and API credentials for the life of your account and up to thirty days after account closure; and server logs and analytics data, which are typically anonymized or deleted within ninety days. We may retain information longer where required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements. Aggregated or de-identified data, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you, may be retained indefinitely.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Service at your own risk.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, restrict the processing of, or receive a portable copy of it; the right to object to our processing of your data; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (note that we do not sell or share it for advertising); and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Where we rely on your consent to process your data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Residents of California (under the CCPA and CPRA), the European Economic Area and United Kingdom (under the GDPR and UK GDPR), and other jurisdictions with similar laws may exercise applicable rights by contacting us at support@itsmattgeorge.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law and may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If we decline to act on your request, you may, depending on your jurisdiction, have the right to appeal by replying to our decision or contacting us at support@itsmattgeorge.com with the subject line "Privacy Request Appeal." If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

9. International Users and Data Transfers

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, processed, and stored in the United States and other countries, which may have data-protection laws different from those in your country. When we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland to the United States, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards, which may include the European Commission's approved Standard Contractual Clauses and the United Kingdom Information Commissioner's Office approved International Data Transfer Addendum, as applicable.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us at support@itsmattgeorge.com and we will take steps to delete it.

11. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond, the Service does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. Our analytics are already designed to minimize tracking, as described above.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Material changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
