About Image Enlarger

This image enlarger increases the width and height of a picture using high quality browser scaling. Enter a larger size, or multiply the current dimensions, and download the result as PNG, JPG, or WebP.

Keep in mind that enlarging cannot invent detail that is not in the original, so a much larger image will look softer. For modest size increases the result is usually fine.

How to Use

  1. Drop in or choose an image.
  2. Enter a larger width or height, with aspect ratio locked to avoid stretching.
  3. Pick the output format and quality.
  4. Download the enlarged image.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I enlarge without losing quality?

Enlarging stretches the existing pixels, so it cannot add new detail. Small increases look clean, while large ones look softer. That is true of any simple enlarger.

Does it keep the proportions?

Yes. With aspect ratio locked, the height updates when you change the width so the image is not distorted.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser and nothing is sent to a server.
